Vintage travel trailers/camping
- Books
Kurt Vonnegut (my guy, man) - "Cat's Cradle"; Jack Black - "You Can't Win" (Tom Sawyer for dope fiends and thieves); Pete Hamill - "A Drinking Life" (a brilliant writer -- I'm a recent convert); Gabriel Garcia Marquez - "Love in the Time of Cholera"
- Magazines & Newspapers
Whatever scrap I can get my hands on. Especially enjoy "The Week" magazine. It features good current events and pop culture writings from news outlets around the world. I also love smutty celebrity rags... my guilty pleasure.
- Fitness
I'm crazy fit, dog.
- Fine Arts
Lots of big heroes. Some faves: Odilon Redon; William Blake; Frances Bacon; Warhol; Alice Neel; Eric Fischl, El Greco; Lucien Freud; David Salle; Balthus; Richard Serra, Josef Beuys, Wayne Theibaud; Magritte; Dorthea Tanning; Cindy Sherman... on and on.
- Performance Art
I love extremeists like Bob Flanagan and Karen Finley -- people with something deeper to say. I also adore intelligent/charming eccentrics like Annie Sprinkle.

- Music
Some faves: Daddy Cool (Australian '70s rock novelty act); Malkmus; Los Lobos; Bell 45s (and other '70s bubblegum and pop); Cheap Trick; Stones; Sonics; Beach Boys; Black Sabbath; Beastie Boys; novelty records; S.F./L.A. Punk; The Damned; the Hentchmen; the Gore Gore Girls; Judas Priest; the McFive; the McStooges; Badfinger; Beatles; Beck; Roxy; the Dictators; '60s -'70s ska/dancehall reggae (Skatalites, Niney and the Observers, Toots, etc.); ZZ Top; Eno; Snoop/Cube era rap; Motorhead; Scorps; Ken Nordine; vintage garage punk ; latter day garage punk; Doc Watson; Tony Rice; Elliot Smith; Del Shannon; The Band; The Shocking Blue; on and on and on...
Fave songs: 1.) tie: "Don't Worry Baby" by The Beach Boys and "Eagle Rock" by Daddy Cool 2.) "Love Grows Where My Rosemary Goes" by The Edison Lighthouse; 3.) "Jet" by Paul McCartney and Wings
- Movies
1.) Jaws; 3.) Evil Dead 2.) What's Eating Gilbert Grape? That top 3 may look a little hinky, but I pretty much love everything from "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari" to "Idiocracy." Especially geeked by great documentaries (Crumb, Jesus Camp, Fog of War). Absolutely LOVE low-budget do-it-yourselfers like Ray Dennis Steckler; T.V. Mikels and Doris Wishman -- the sillier the better. Also crazy about modern and classic horror.
- TV
Adult Swim's "Squidbillies," man. If they cancel it I'm gonna have a fit. TCM, AMC, PBS The Daily Show; The Colbert Report and all the true crime programming. Also like the Discovery Channel, Comedy Central and the History Channel. Will occasionally sneek a peek at all those "Pimp My House" shows or some vulger celebrity-falling-apart stuff, but my favorite T.V. by far is HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm." Effin' hilarious. A few T.V. heroes: Dave Chapelle (bless you, Dave); Rod Serling (a genius); The Three Stooges (I'm a Moe gal); and the brilliant Wanda Sykes.
- Games
Dominoes. I'm not kidding. Apparently myself and the fine people of Jamaica are the only humans who think this game is fun.
