About the Business
Our business is writing, but if you don't do the research, you can't write. Our way of doing research is going on the road, meeting people, asking questions, taking pictures, making notes. When we write about a places, we want to know them. This profile will be a journal of where we've been, what we're doing in preparation of the projects we're working on.
About Texas
No state in the union offers as much variety as does Texas. We've got deserts, mountains, coastal plains, borderlands, sandy beaches, high prairies, piney woods, the hill country, and farmlands. And . . . there's Big Bend, Coastal Bend, and even just Bend, a little town on the Colorado River. Oh, yeah, we've got lots of rivers and lakes too. But we've also got three of the largest cities in America, and lots of urban sprawl . . . meaning we've got some sure enough ugly places (known to some people as shitholes). There is no place I'd rather be, and I travel this state from border to border, north to south and east to west. That's where most of my stories come from - the travels.
