Front woman, Kim Pulsive, started the F-Bombers in November of '06 along with some flighty(now ex)members for the first few months. They hit the road and started touring the US in April '07. During that tour she came to find that the people she was playing with weren't the best people for the job. As fate would have it, Kim and Clay met in Florida while both on tour, Kim with the Bombers and Clay with Lower Class Brats. They forged an alliance based on a common love for and commitment to Rock 'n' Roll. Clay saw Kim's vision and drive and decided to invest some serious hard work into carrying on The F-Bombers with her. Clay left his job and his home in Texas and headed to NYC where he and Kim holed up for the month of June and plotted a course of action. With a show booked for July 7th (with Inspector 7, Darkbuster, Wretched Ones...) creeping ever closer, the search for another member was becoming frantic. It seemed that good luck was waiting for them just around the corner. While attending a show at the Court Tavern in NJ, their good buddy Giuseppe Mancini from Inspector 7 introduced the bewildered pair to a Mr. Solomon Casseras who turned out to be more than what they were looking for. Sol learned the entire set in 3 short rehearsals and the F-Bombers first show with the new line up (Kim=guitar/vocals, Sol=bass, Clay=drums) went over without a hitch. Clay left only hours after the show to fulfill his obligations to his other band in Texas, The Lower Class Brats, and left to tour the U.S. for the rest of the summer. The F-bombers went on hiatus. Keeping busy, Kim began a venture in the merchandising industry. She started her own company, Murder Ink Apparel, while working part time as a security guard at the Stone Pony. The F-Bombers did not return to the rehearsal space until September. By this time, the band was ready for yet another line-up change. Sol is a phenomenal lead guitar player and it would have been a down-right shame to continue hiding his skill behind a bass guitar. While Clay's drum skills were more than up to par, he decided it was time to move on to a new instrument and picked the four strings that Sol put down. The search for a new drummer began. A little over a week went by before fortune smiled on the group yet again. A hard hitting drummer (and chemical engineer!) Kevin, from the rehearsal space next door happened to have worked with Sol in previous projects (Dehumanized, Mean Mistreaters) He was invited to sit in with the band. He instantly picked up what the band was putting down and the F-Bombers had a new drummer without having to place one ad! And that is how it stands today. The band works constantly, be it rehearsing, recording, booking shows or printing their own merchandise. The F-bombers are a self-contained entity, staying true to the original DIY ethic which brought them all together in the first place. For the love of music. The line up: Kim: Vocals & Guitar Clay: Bass & Backing Vocals Sol: Lead guitar & Backing Vocals Kevin: Drummer
