About Me: Welcome to the MOLI Book Club! The MBC is a central gathering point for book lovers and book clubs. This is a place to discuss hot new books, literary news (Dumbledore is gay!), publishing gossip, book-club issues, etc. Plus MOLI will pick a book every month or so that we'll highlight with excerpts, interviews with the author, podcasts, discussions, etc. We'll also feature literary events in our calender, so let us know if things are up in your neck of the woods.

MOLI.com is looking for a few good critics. Submit a review to the MOLI Book Club Message Board and win a chance to pick the Book of the Month for the MOLI Book Club. The best review will run in the MOLI View, MOLI ’s daily multimedia online magazine. The writer of that review will also win a chance to become a paid MOLI contributor, along with a gift certificate to Books & Books and other independent bookstores and autographed copies of four books by MOLI View contributing editors. Prizes will also be rewarded to the writers of the second and third best reviews.

How to Enter:

1.   Visit MOLI and click on "Join Now" to register. Then become a friend of the MOLI Book Club.
2.   Submit your critique on the message board. Tell us why you love your chosen book, and why it should be a MOLI Book of the Month. Reviews should be no more than 400 words.

What you get if you win:
1.    First place: The top review will be published in the MOLI View and in the MOLI Book Club profile. The book reviewed will be considered as a pick for the MBC ’s Book of the Month. The writer will be considered for future paid freelance work for that online magazine. The winner will also get autographed copies of these four books: Russian Lover by Jana Martin, Ghetto Celebrity by Donnell Alexander, Deborah Harry: Platinum Blonde by Cathay Che, and Mamarama: A Memoir of Sex, Kids and Rock ‘n’ Roll by Evelyn McDonnell. The winner will receive a $20 gift certificate to Books & Books, redeemable at that South Florida chain or at independent bookstores nationwide. The winner will also receive a copy of the Fall 2007 print version of the MOLI View.
2.   Second place: The writer of the second best review will win a $20 Books & Books gift certificate, their choice of two signed copies of the above books, and a copy of the Fall 2007 print version of the MOLI View.
3.   Third Place: The writer of the third best review will win a $20 Books & Books gift certificate, their choice of one signed copy of the above books, and a copy of the Fall 2007 print version of the MOLI View.
4.   All entrants will receive a copy of the Fall 2007 print version of the MOLI View. The best reviews may also be posted on the MOLI Book Club profile.

The contest is open to persons age 18 or older. Employees of Mainstream Holdings, Inc, Moli, LLC and their respective parent, affiliate, subsidiary and successor companies and members of the immediate families or households of such employees are not eligible. Void where prohibited.
