Daniela revolutionized TV by playing the first transgendered character (Moira/Max on The L Word) on a series making the transition from female to male. She is also one of the stars of John Cameron Mitchell's critical smash film Shortbus. You can also see Daniela playing a soldier recently returned from Iraq in the upcoming film
