About Us: Thing 1 and Thing 2 may not be officially my cats' names, but they should be known by this for their behaviors in my home. I became an empty nester in March 2006 after becoming a widow in 2001. A coworker felt compelled to bring me the brother to one of her cats that had to be rescued from the original owner. Because he was sooooo very brave when travelling in her car to my home, he became known as GIBSON (as in Mel Gibson, as in Braveheart!). The second cat was brought over to me as a 2 month old kitten by my daughter who had become pregnant and felt that they couldn't have a cat living in their home. This cat is white with black spots on it like a New Jersey cow so his name became Moobaby (especially fitting when he was oh so small!).

Best Vacation: Vacation? Hmmm... I think that they have a vacation from me whenever I do leave the home. I am no longer telling them "No!" and squirting the water bottle at them.
