Skiboota Ranch: A Miggypen Manor
This is a view for people who already have an association with miggypens, and even for people who've never heard of them but would like to know more. We're calling this miggypen manor Skiboota, a name that's important to all tiny people. It's both a mythical and mystical place for Miggypens. Once this physical life is over and a miggypen is ready for spiritual life, he goes to Skiboota. As for this profile here at Campo Madrone is concerned, it's a manor for stories about miggypens . . . and for miggypens. It's a place for myths and legends, and for people who understand the necessity for understanding small things that usually get lost in a large universe. It's mostly for family members who already know about the miggypen stories started half a century ago by our father, B. Philip Martin . . . known mostly as Papa Doc to his grandkids. But a few others have been invited to the manor, so look around. It's all new and not much is here yet, but it will grow. Add to it, if you like. And remember, small things cast big shadows sometimes.

SO WHAT IS SKIBOOTA?  To a miggypen, it's the hereafter -
a place where miggypens transcend to after the
physical life is over.  And, oh yeah!  Miggypen's
have long lives here on earth - up to a thousand
years.   In the book, we talk about how this is possible.

BUT WHY THE NAME SKIBOOTA?
Well, a place to live is
                 called a haboota (habitat),
  and so naturally a
Heaven like place would be skiboota (sky).

WE CALL OUR MIGGYPEN MANOR A RANCH BECAUSE WE
LOVE THE CONCEPT OF A RANCH BEING A PLACE
THAT'S A SAFE AND COMFORTABLE PLACE TO
                RESIDE.

WHAT IS KYDUAN?  WHERE IS IT?  Kyduan is the ancestrial
home for miggypens in America.  It is on the banks
of Ligi Juta (the Great Pond) on the edge of the great
                 Fern Forest of Oregon.

WHAT IS THE ANCIENT TREE COMPOUND?  This is the place
where miggypens records are kept, in the stump of
hemlock tree.  The facilities go deep into the ground,
revealing all sorts of strange and wonderful places.
This is where Lu d'Mi lives, along with a staff, and where
delegates assemble to become Keepers of Knowledge.
