The Beginning
Winesox.com was founded in in early 2003. When invited to parties, Marc, an avid wine drinker and regular partygoer, was always searching for a unique and stylish way to present his gift of wine to the host. He searched in vain for clever packaging, while sadly, only finding low quality paper or fabric gift bags. Thus, Winesox.com was born, designed to provide stylish, elegant, and humorous wine bags that enhance any gift of wine for any occasion.
Why Winesox?
We coined the name "Winesox" because a bag is not just a bag and our sox are all very special. It is our vision to propagate wine "sox" all over the world. All bottles of wine deserve to be stylishly dressed and cleverly presented when given as a gift. In fact, we hope we never see an undressed bottle of wine again. Our 'sox' are designed to be given to everyone for any event, and can bring a smile to the face of the most discriminating wine connoisseur and can delight the friends at your neighborhood block party. Our 'sox' are also designed to serve as beautiful gifts in their own right, while adding a bit of whimsy and style to any bottle of wine. If you cannot find a perfect solution among our current products, please write to us, as we are always expanding our product line, and can work with you on any customization ideas. We hope you will join our crusade to populate the earth with Wine "sox". We appreciate the support of our customers, families, friends, and wine drinkers everywhere.
