RAMACCIONI: 'Forza Stefano!'
MILAN - All of Milan is close to Stefano Borgonovo and his family. In the afternoon Silvano Ramaccioni wanted to spend some thoughts on the former Rossoneri's champion, who is going through a difficult moment due to the sickness which hit him. "I knew about this story and I have the same opinion of his wife. I think we need to find a solution for this thing and I hope that it can be Stefano who does so. I have an exceptional memory of him. He was a great striker who was at Milan in a moment of great richness in the offensive roles, but despite this, he still gave us great satisfactions when thanks to him we qualified to the next round in the Bayern game. I have a wonderful memory of this champion who I wish him to beat this sickness and I'm certain that he will succeed, just like he did with the Rossoneri's shirt in Munich, when he went past his opponent with one of his goals."
FILIPPO GALLI: 'I'm close to Stefano and his loved ones'
MILAN - Even Filippo Galli spoke about Stefano Borgonovo: "It's difficult to say something in these situations, we always risk to be banal. I knew about the sickness which hit him. I am close to his family, to himself and I hope to see him soon. I know that there will be a game in favour of the Associaton for the research of this terrible sickness. I can only say again that I'm very close. A great and strong hug to Stefano and his loved ones.
FIORENTINA-MILAN: THE MATCH FOR STEFANO BORGONOVO
MILAN - ACF Fiorentina and AC Milan will face each other on October 8th at the 'Franchi' stadium of Florence in a game for charity for Stefano Borgonovo. The former Viola and Rossoneri's player is in fact going through a very difficult moment due to the sickness which has hit him a few years ago, the SLA. There will be Milan and Fiorentina players on the pitch who are not called-up for the national teams and also former team-mates of Stefano Borgonovo.
Fiorentina and Milan invite all the fans to come and watch the game. The profit of the game will in fact go for research.
