Greetings everyone, I am JD.
It takes money to make money, which I am confident is the sole reason I remain an enigma as an author. As a result of being poor my partner and I have to do everything in small steps as we raise enough money for each stage of our online store. As an artist I am mediocre, but as a writer I believe I have great potential. My only partner, Sparky and I have just created a domain where I shall be selling my novels, novelettes, short stories, and children books as book-style and web-style E-Books. We are hoping to raise enough money there to publish my books as paper backs and also publish our table top games. My partner does the graphics for the game and books, although I do some of the art work myself. I illustrated all of the children's books. I have to date authored seventeen books, some of the rough drafts I am still in the process of editing. I also write poetry and song lyrics just for kicks. We have just gotten our domain up and we do not even have links on our site page yet, but look for us and our products in the future at PhilosophersEgg.com. My partner will be selling poser items, graphic art, and be doing custom graphics on request. We also have plans to sell other game, book, and graphics related items. All graphics, poetry, and book exerpts posted on this profile are my own.

Eye of the Storm
Look to the sun and it shall burn your eyes, see through the clouds to the rainbow skies. The tempest squalls, against stoney walls, but beyond the storm, is peace adorned, to strip the shadow from the land, and greet the starlight with open hand. The day falls to dusk, with haze of dust, for the night to shine clear, laying to rest dark fears. The moon smiles down, on trust new found, and glimmering in the heavens, the stars like angels brethren. A dream remembered shimmers there, to quiet the beast of heart's beware, to wake the wonder of evermore, and slake the needs of struggle's core.
Rainfall on Glass
Water pearls, Dripping worlds, Raindrop tears, On glass appears, To wax and blend, as colors bend. A world's refraction, In rainfall's reflection. Painted rivers, Snaking tendrils slither, As the scene meanders, Ripples and shimmers. The world's envision, a kalideiscope prism. The vista flowing, motion glowing. The hour glass falls, and heaven's tears lull, goes the illusion, into lucid horizons.
Ode to Re
Dusk fades. Twilight. Stars spill from the void. Darkness bathed. Moonlight. Shadows eclipsed the light. Dawn. Night shorn. Never thought it would end, not like this, I can't pretend. Black cloak lanced. Divested of the shroud. See you on the other side. This is good bye. Time advanced. The sand ran out, of the glass. Flames consumed, shadows to ash. Silence. Embraced. The coldest hour. Sunlight. Agony. No shelter found. Sunrise. Death tolls. Not a sound. In the coldest hour. Dawn. The coldest hour."
The Regrets of War
I see their faces. They meant nothing to me. Who were they to me? No one. I didn't even know them. Then why do I feel so sick inside? Their faces haunt me. I can not hide. I saw his brother, and he did not know it was me. His eyes were empty. Filled with nothing but grief. Just like him, I can't get any relief. I tell myself, they deserved to die. But I didn't know them. so I ask myself why. Maybe if I knew who they were, I would find nothing to hate. So I stay my distance from that, so I cannot relate. I try to build a wall, but it visits me anyway, Why do I even care? It eats at me day to day. I am sorry. that I took you away, from those who loved you, and knew you, I took you away. Stop haunting me. I can not change anything. Stop taunting me. I would do it all over again. Stop mocking me. You are making me insane. Stop scorning me, There is nothing to gain. Who am I to say, It was your time to die? I am your reflection, You did the same as I. You were in the wrong place, at the right time."
