The first Starlingear piece, the Slickster Shifter was born in 1998. The hotrod community ferociously adopted him as fast as Starlingear could produce them. But then, as now, the process takes time..

Every Starlingear item--rings, shifters, bracelets, chains, is created the same way: An original vision is hand carved into wax.
Once refined, the wax master is used to make limited run molds. Liquid metal is poured into each new mold, and allowed to slow cool. After careful prep, the process is repeated; now with precious metals.
For the sterling silver line, each piece is hand stamped with a security marking. All bracelets, necklaces, wallet chains and long key chains are also given a registration number and tracked at Starlingear, Inc.
Enjoy the goods. If you are in Japan or Los Angeles, CA, check out a showroom. Just remember, LA is by appointment only, so please contact us first. For those a distance away, or in between visits, we've redesigned the online showcases, added a video news section, and included a blog. We hope you dig it. Let us know either way.
