Thanks for the comments Jeff. It is definitely something that I fear and I am trying to work on. It was funny because before I stood at the podium I was ok and not too nervous, but the minute Ryan introduced me everything went blank and I froze. It was the strangest sensation. But I pulled through, spoke 100 miles a minute, but did it. On to speech #2!

Chelsea took the podium, conquering her fear, and was victorious! We had talked beforehand about how even the most nervous of us has managed to deliver an effective and interesting first speech. I warned her that talking to fast was a pitfall, and even if she tried to slow down she might still talk a bit fast. It happens to all of us. This is what we work on improving at MOLI Masters.

Overall, she did deliver an entertaining story that seemed very natural, and relaxed, even if a bit rushed. There was humor and good vocal variation. She also moved around a bit and did not seem stiff. We learned things about Chelsea that we did not know before. Now, on to speech #2!

Great way to learn about your team members and of course speak in front of them, also the educational tools have helped.
