My family and I do many different styles of art, dolls and crafts. All of our work is created with the deepest respect for our Native American ancestors. Our art and crafts inspirations and designs come simply from the traditional teachings of our Native American Elders, and a strong love for what we make. Our gift items are exclusively designed, unique, one of a kind items...no two are identical ..hence, no mass production or duplicates ever from KADOBI Lodge Crafts. Each handcrafted piece is thought out, planned and prayed about; then and only then do we make the item.
Our family has been crafting our trade goods for over 30 years. Many of our crafts and trade goods are shown and sold locally along the pow wow trail of the northeastern woodlands in and around Hebron, Connecticut.
My mother makes and repairs many kinds of dolls. Some are cloth dolls which are dressed in Native Regalia with beads pouches and other findings. Each pair of dolls are spiritually joined and will not be separated. Single item dolls are seldom made.
My son, Windwalker, does all the art work. His media includes pencil, pen & ink, acrylics, pastels, charcoals & oil. Each one of his works of art is exciting and vibrant and holds special, deep spiritual meaning. His beaded pouches are beautifully unique but also rarely made since his loss of hand dexterity due to Multifocal motor neuropathy.
My other relatives also create some of the crafts I sell. All of their art work is also one of a kind and hand crafted with the same spiritual awareness as our own. Dream pouches designed by my sister Kicks Twice and myself are hand painted and carry special items inside to bring you joy.
We thank you for looking at our on-line catalog, and hope you will consider purchasing our exclusive one of a kind items for yourself or as a special gift for a friend.
AHO, Wunnesstou-Makuye
