FASHIONTRIBES.com is five quarterly e-zines, each customized by fashion personality or "tribe". The concept of the tribes came from Editor in Chief Lesley Scott's years of experience as the New York-based Senior Editor for Coolhunt.net , a global trendspotting firm.

In reporting on streetfashion for publications such as Marie Claire Asia, Elle Girl Korea, GQ Taiwan, 25 Ans, she realized that when style-conscious people get dressed, they tend to represent various fashion personalites or tribes. And the tribes go way beyond just getting dressed. A person's look will tell you about the types of restaurants and hangouts they frequent, the music they like, and even preferred mode of transport (eg. subway vs. chauffeur).The tribe you choose reveals who you are.

From Park Avenue princesses to dingy downtown dive-loving leather divas, there are as many different types of fashionistas as there are lifestyle options...which is why there are five different Fashiontribes.com e-zines.
