We are an independent bookstore devoted entirely to mysteries, and the largest mystery bookstore in Manhattan. We feature a complete selection of new titles as well as a broad array of our recommendations, classics, and out-of-print books.

Best of New Crime Novels
We publish a First Editions Catalog both on paper and online. Book collectors and dealers have come to recognize our expertise in picking the best of new crime novels most likely to appreciate in value. Our new author recommendations have appreciated 500% in the last three years.
Library
If you live in the neighborhood, our Lending Library is a great way to read the newest quality hardcovers at below-paperback prices. Our out-of-print shelves offer a broad selection of those elusive titles that publishers (sadly) no longer keep in print.

We invite you to visit our store and avail yourself of our expert and friendly customer service, our attractive appealing ambience, and our comfy chairs. We are located in Greenwich Village at 44 Greenwich Avenue, corner of Charles between 6th and 7th Avenues
Virtual Store
We invite you to explore our store online and experience our expert recommendations and friendly customer service. We ship any of 10,000 mystery book titles to any location in the world. If you don't see it online, email us and if it's gettable we will get it for you!
