Drop someone a note with comments. You can write text or HTML (if you know how) or click the link above the message box and attach media from your grab bag. If you're having second thoughts about a comment that you've left, you'll always be able to delete it by going to the comment and pressing the delete button. If someone has left a comment on any of your profiles, tools, or media that you don't like, you can delete that, too.

Daytona Bike Week 2006

A friend of mine and I rode up from Ft. Lauderdale, watched the races and the opportunity to Dyno Drag our bikes. He rides a Gixxer 1000 so I new I'd get my arse kicked unless he was simply pathetic. Well, as it turned out, I was the one that was simply pathetic. I had terrible reaction times, I may have missed a shift in the first run (can't remember for sure), and missed not one but 2 shifts my 3rd run, hence the even more lousy time and speed. The three 1/4-mile races broke down as such:

RC51 (Bone stock w/ PC3USB)

Elapsed Time:  10.447

Speed:  134.300

Reaction Time:  1.070

Horse Power:  121.5

Elapsed Time:  9.864

Speed:  135.300

Reaction Time:  1.282

Horse Power:  123.7

Elapsed Time:  10.743

Speed:  129.500

Reaction Time:  0.836

Horse Power:  107.9

Gixxer 1000 (Yosh. Pipe, maybe more. I don't know for sure.)

Elapsed Time:  9.695

Speed:  146.200

Reaction Time:  .657

Horse Power:  150.1

Elapsed Time:  9.721

Speed:  147.600

Reaction Time:  .930

Horse Power:  153.9

Elapsed Time:  9.472

Speed:  147.500

Reaction Time:  0.683

Horse Power:  154.3
