Tourism in Kenya?
Things are opening up for tourists in this controversial region
In the security line at Heathrow Airport a couple heard me mention Kenya. They canceled their trip there this past February, so they were very interested in what I saw.
"Was the violence still rampant?" the woman asked. I told her truthfully that I saw no violence and that in the most remote parts of Kenya hand-waves predominated.
