Kiss and Makeup

By Theo Kogan/MOLI

Bring me your tired, your bleary, your makeup inquiry!

OK dear reader, here's my disclaimer! These are real questions, albeit somewhat silly ones. Still, I will answer them to my best ability with honesty and candor.

Dear Theo,

Would you rather be blind, or have no arms? If you were blind how would you put your makeup on? And if you had no arms, would you put your makeup on with your feet?

— Stumped

Dear Stumped,

This is a tough one, but if I had to choose, I think I would prefer to have no arms. Have you ever tried walking around with your eyes closed or blindfolded?

No offense at all to any blind folks out there, but I tried walking with my eyes closed when I was a little kid and walked into a fence with my face. I also did an exercise in an acting class where we had to be "blind." We were asked to start at home and get to class with no sight. Quite challenging and not my favorite exercise.

And furthermore, I would absolutely learn how to use my feet and toes for everything! Applying makeup, eating, dressing, undressing, and wiping! I saw a documentary once about a woman with no arms who was able to dress her kids with her feet!

***

Dear Theo,

Pretty simple: What is you favorite red lipstick?

Thanks,

— Q-T

Dear Q-T,

You came to the right place, I do have my favorites!

My favorite red for lips now is Armour Beauty lip gloss in Barracuda. It's a gloss that wears like a lipstick with lots of shine and includes such natural ingredients as avocado butter and oil, mango-seed butter, olive butter, grape-seed oil, shea butter, and vitamin E, to moisturize and protect your lips. It can also be used as a stain. Armour Beauty is my and my biz partner/friend Allison Burns's new makeup line, just launching this month. Thanks for letting me promote it with your question!

As for regular red lipsticks, my fave red's are M.A.C.'s Russian red and Laura Mercier's Truly Red.

S.W.A.K!
