Spitzer's prostitute friend may be on the fast track to stardom

Turns out that boffing egomaniacal goon Eliot Spitzer at the Mayflower Hotel may be the best thing that ever happened to prostitute/aspiring R&B singer Ashley Alexandra Dupré. According to the Washington Post, several record executives, crazed by the stink of money, are all groping for the voluptuous 22-year-old cash cow. If she can continue to stay out of the pokey, this might be her lucky break.

"What We Want," the J-Lo/Beyoncé-style track posted on Dupré's MySpace page, isn't a mind-blower. But, save a timid note here and there, it's pretty passable. And, though it's hard to feel good about wishing her luck when you see the emotionally ravaged face of Spitzer's wife, Silda Wall Spitzer, on some level, I'm still kinda rooting for her. As with Christine Keeler, Monica Lewinsky, and Jessica Hahn, I'd like to see Dupré fiddle while Spitzer burns.

"It is absolute folly, in 2008, to think that adult men in power are not going to have extramarital affairs — they all do it," says Norma Jean Almodovar, executive director of the Southern California Chapter of COYOTE (a support organization for prostitutes). "We need to grow up [as a culture] and recognize that."

Good article. Spitzer is an F'in A-hole. Ironically funny and appropriate he got hit. He did wonders messing up things for the music industry (my world) with his so called morals. As for the girl, it goes to show you how pathetically desperate the record industry is seeking ANYTHING with built in traction. I guess all her hard work paid off... ha. PL

Getting a massage or going to the doctor is the same thing as getting a hooker?? Man, I've been getting ripped off.
