Friday the forecast was for an icy mix of wintry mess outside but a blast of sunshine inside, as around and about the tents at Bryant Park, Fashion Week kicked off its bi-seasonal megawattage display. One note: There seems to be more celebrities, so they gush, than ever before. Why? The writer's strike. Stars have nothing to do. Fantastic, said the PR teams, we'll make you a deal. And since the fashion world has to eat too (kind of), if starpower can give the tents a shot in the money arm, good for us.

    I had a friend who worked at MAC, she now plays Cruela De Vil at DisneyLand. both very cool. Pretty crazy that you can use steel grey. very cool!
