    Is gangsta rap bad for society or is it somehow a healthy outlet?

    It's worked for me. The woman who lives with me is not so into it.

    I think it depends on the artist - there is some that I hear that's just absolutely ridiculous.  And then there is other stuff that you can tell actually has some thought behind it.  It is the latter that can be good for society.
