I'm currently 32 years old. At 27, I was diagnosed with cancer. It was the scariest time of my life. Not only was it difficult physically, but it took it a toll on my emotional state. Thanks to wonderful doctors and an even better support system, I can happily say I'm "clean". As my anniversary approached I swore that if the tests came back negative, I'd get a tattoo to celebrate it. I'd like to get a flower for each year that I've been clean with tribal work on my outter arm.
Since I was sick, I realized how lucky I am and have since decided to help people as much as I can. I volunteer with an organization that works with people affected by cancer and I also work as a sexual assault advocate. I've started volunteer training to be a mentor to a child as well. I also decided to start college since I never went out of high school. My friends and family are constantly surprised at how much I do, but I feel that it's the least I can do. Maybe it's why I survived. So with all the work I do and how busy I stay, I'd also like to have Wonder Woman tattooed on my inner arm and somehow have the two tattoos connect.
I'd love for Chris Garver to do my tattoo because I admire his work, would be proud to display his art.....and because it would save me money :)
