About Marilyn:

 From Airman to Author, Marilyn Campiz has set her roots in Colorado as a writer. Marilyn had been performed technical writing for twenty years in the service of the Air Force and is a regular contributor to Chic Today®, as well as other freelance ventures, often writing about different art genres. 

Her passion for journaling, poetry and storytelling is reflected in her current body of work. She doesn’t just tell you a story; she brings the reader inside her thoughts. It is uncontrived and highly sensual. She refuses to be categorized, and often writes from an experiential point of view.

 Her voice is a strong one, pulling away from the pack with a mixture of strength and vulnerability, expressed in the depth of her words. “…this captured time that I share with you, goes into areas where a person throws out labels, labels such as, woman, survivor, rebellious, and the unconfirmed.

Marilyn Campiz served in the Air Force for 20 years and holds an MBA from Colombia Southern University, BA in Interdisciplinary Studies, Minor in Management, and Undergraduate Career Counseling Certificate from American Military University, and an Associate’s Degree in Personnel Administration from the Community College of the Air Force.
