About Jude:
 Jude Hatcher Bangs, an Ojai, California native, lives in a medieval condo in Sarasota, Florida. 

 Entering her front door, one is transported back many centuries by stone, ceiling beams, plaster, and old English furnishings. 

During a trip to England many years ago, she visited a manor house with grounds that featured a staircase exactly like one in a recurring childhood dream. 

That, plus an extraordinary man she met (6’5” tall, lithe, with the greenest eyes she’d ever seen), were the inspiration for The Elf King series
