NEW YORK, December 13, 2006 – Actress Lisa Rinna will use her style and savvy to host Tease, Oxygen’s six-episode hair competition series premiering Wednesday, January 10th at 9pm ET/PT. A series big on hair cuts and bold personalities, each Tease episode will feature two up-and-coming hair stylists as they face-off in an outrageous, Olympic-style tournament.
The aspiring stylists will put their skills to the ultimate tress test in front of a panel of expert judges that include supermodel Roshumba, celebrity stylist Peter Ishkhans, and beauty super-agent Frank Moore, as they compete for a chance at the supreme challenge – a one-on-one battle with a high-profile master stylist. Should they surpass the expertise of a hair pro, they will receive the prized “silver scissors,” the crowning symbol of their styling victory.
Coby Archa, a former Survivor: Palau competitor, is the Tease house stylist, giving in-audience hair makeovers and offering 30-second tips in each episode. The Tease judges include supermodel, broadcast personality, and author Roshumba (VH1 Countdown, The Complete Idiots Guide To Being a Model); Peter Ishkhans, celebrity hairstylist and co-owner of the Los Angeles-based Bhava Salon; and Frank Moore, celebrated agent (Celestine Agency) to some of entertainment’s most in-demand hair stylists, makeup artists and fashion stylists.
The master stylists for Tease are Clyde Haygood, hair stylist to music royalty and celebrities that include Gwen Stefani, Hilary Swank and Shakira; Stephanie Hobgood, a hair color master with musician clients that include Tommy Lee and Dirty Harry; and Kim Vo, a respected hair stylist and Loreal master colorist who is the owner of the LA-based B2V salon.

Well known to television audiences from her starring roles on Dancing with the Stars, Soap Talk, Melrose Place and Days of Our Lives, Emmy-nominated Rinna is also recognizable for her signature layered hairstyle. In addition to appearing on-screen, Rinna and her husband Harry Hamlin own Belle Gray, an LA-based women’s fashion boutique that has been featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show and awarded the Innovators in Fashion Award from the Laboratory Institute of Merchandising in NYC. Rinna and Hamlin have two daughters, Delilah Belle and Amelia Gray.
