PictureNY.org Saves the Day! Artists and activists formed an ad hoc group, Picture New York, to fight the NYC Mayor's office for the right for photographers and filmmakers to shoot in public spaces without restriction. The Mayor's Office of Film, Television and Broadcasting scrapped their proposed regulations, and now start over again. Hopefully, filmmakers and artists will be consulted this time around.
