Wait! What? Get a Permit to Make a Video?

Description:

I interview street philosophers in the subways, parks, and on the bustling sidewalks of NYC. There's no budget, and I shoot with a hand-held camera, but the city wants me to apply for a permit every time I hit the streets to celebrate freedom of speech. Shut down amateur videomakers? It sure feels like that's what the NYC Mayor's Office of Film, Television, and Broadcasting wants to do.
