People Are a Trip, Example #52

In this video, William answers the simple question, "Have you seen something beautiful today?" His answer is quite poetic, and that makes sense because almost every day he sits at a small table on 14th Street between Third and Fourth avenues and writes poetry. He wrote a fine poem for me, and I gave him $7 for it. "People Are a Trip" is a video series shot with a crew of one (me!) in New York City. I do spontaneous interviews with people on the street and with influential underground musicians. They answer my blunt questions with the truth of the moment. They are hilarious. No, poetic. Well, maybe quite philosophical.
