Mika

Description:
Mika
Life in Cartoon Motion
(Universal Republic)
Released: March, 2007

***PRESS RELEASE***
Every once in awhile we are lucky enough to stumble upon an artist whose music is just so irresistible we can¹t contain ourselves. MIKA is one such artist. From the moment we were given the first "rough mixes" of his demo CD (many months ago), we¹ve been hooked singing loudly (now matter how off key) while perched behind our computers, and even going so far as to sneak a few tracks onto our ipods (strictly forbidden!) in order to take the music home to play for our friends.

***PRESS REVIEWS***
Pop Bitch
"Beck meets Bolan meets Queen...the breakout superstar of the next few years."

Sunday Observer UK
"It is a rare sort of man that can get away with a chorus that begins "I tried to be like Grace Kelly/But all her looks were too sad." But then the 22-year-old singer/songwriter Mika is nothing if not a rare sort. His pop debut finds the cross-point between a Baz Luhrmann soundtrack and a classic Seventies episode of Top of the Pops."
