TEES That Tease

Description:
MAKE A STATEMENT IN A G LAUNDRY T-SHIRT
By Jared Johnson Afro Love editor, Fashiontribes.com

"My goal is to make something so unique that you look at it as a second skin, not just cotton," explains Gregory Littley a Philadelphia native turned NYC boy-about-town who is now designing a new line of high-end tees tentatively called G Laundry. Each design, which will be limited to five tees only, begins as a raw sketch or experimental collage, to which Littley then adds some punk flair.

He first began dabbling in tees as a 19 year old student at the Philly’s University of Arts, when he discovered printmaking and the endless possibilities offered by a silk screen and simple jersey fabric. Once in New York, his nocturnal activities as a fixture on the elite party and social circle set, and series of day jobs – including graphic design for Star Magazine, OK! Magazine and later, New York Fashionweek’s bible, The Daily – led to an appearance on NBC’s Today Show.

The tees start at a reasonable $48, and go up to $88 if you want one personalized. For purchasing info, email Glittley@tmail.com. Be sure to check out Gregory’s daily musings on culture, street wear labels, and current parties on his Lesser Known, Better Connected blog.
