Publisher Rachel Varla wanted to bring a new type of model to the forefront, girls who didn't fit into any kind of mold. The models in the pages of Varla are not just tattooed, they are not just pinups, they are not rockabilly, or punk or metal or rockers. They are VARLA GIRLS.
