Why I am Pet Passionate: I HAVE to be. My husband & I are parents to 12 birds! 

My current pet family: Ditto: African Grey (she served as consultant on Killing the Past!); Chloe & Zoe: Amazon yellow heads; Nooky, Huey, Dewey, & Louie: love birds; Rascal: cockatiel; Pogo: Amazon blue front; Squeaky: sun conure; Pepper & Boo: quakers. 

My most memorable pet experience: Chloe & Zoe were our first babies (that was 19 years ago!). We adopted them straight from the jungles of Panama. Hand feeding them as chicks was truly awesome. 

If I could have just one wish come true: I wish we had a bigger aviary! Five of our birds are "rescue" birds. But we've had to turn others away because there's simply no more room.
