We all know how hard it is, we've all been hungry, we have all had drugs and abuse in our lives, who are we?
 I am a mixed blood native american, My mother is an Oglala Lakota from Pine ridge South Dakota, My fathers people were frome Whales and the combination of that, was me. I grew up in an era in the 70s of the end of vietnam and the birth of native voice. I n pine Ridge we were under the constant occupation of F.B.I an national guard troops, we were the third world in the heartland, I saw the good and bad in both peoples, natives, and whites, I can niether hate or love one side more than the other, we both make mistakes, we both have people among us who want love, and those who want pain. I learned photography and I now find the images of both people in fire and light. Its never easy in the art world, we, artists, hope to be discovered, but we are all starving and our relationships suffer in that starvation. Our relationships with art, with friends, lovers, each other. This economy, this governmental future has been bashed against the rocks by this President, yes, we are starving, we are hungry for change as well as food. This is my photo of what is running wild in washington.
