The September New York 08 Festival is a wrap, and it was an awesome experience!! It was the first Film Festival that I've ever participated in with my own film and I must say that the NYIIFVF staff was very professional and everything went off without a hitch. The after parties were a blast and we had a great time. I was thrilled with how well my film 'In the Fall of Gravity' was received and the host speaker Shorty Brown who opened the screenings and introduced the film makers to the audiences was a trip! She did a great job of entertaining the crowd and soothing the nervous film makers into feeling relaxed prior to the showings of their work on the big screen... Thanks Shorty!!!

EVERYBODY'S GOTTA COME! to the New York leg of the 2008 films in the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival that will be screening at the Village East Cinema in the heart of New York City. From September 18th to the 25th, it's gonna be a blast! Tons of great independent films all week long, many of which will be making their premiers on the big screen. Time is running out to purchase your tickets in advance and films will be selling out. Tickets entitle guests to also attend very cool AFTER PARTIES which will also be attended by many of the stars and film makers from each days screenings! The film I personally recommend most of all? MINE OF COURSE!! :) My film 'In the fall of Gravity' will be show at the start of the 8o'clock block on the 24th and will be followed by a Sci-Fi film 'Alien Grey: Zone X' and your ticket gets you in for both!
