    American Independence and Sovereignty

So-called free trade deals and world governmental organizations such as the International Criminal Court (ICC), NAFTA, GATT, WTO, and CAFTA are a
valid threat to our independence as a nation. These organizations transfer power from our government to unelected foreign elites.

More specifically, the ICC aspires to try our soldiers as war criminals. Both the WTO and CAFTA could force Americans to obtain a doctor's prescription to take herbs and vitamins. Alternative treatments could be banned.

The WTO has bullied Congress into changing our laws, yet we still face trade wars. Today, France is threatening to have U.S. goods taxed throughout Europe. If anything, the WTO deteriorates trade relations by handing foreign competitors a new means of attacking the U.S. job market.

NAFTA's superhighway is just one component of a plan devised to eradicate the borders between the U.S. and Mexico, resulting in the creation of an empire called the North American Union. This spawn of powerful special interests would invent a single nation comprised of Canada, the U.S. and Mexico, with a new unelected bureaucracy and monetary system. Forget about controlling immigration under this scheme.

And a free America, with limited, constitutional government, would be forever gone.

Let us not forget the UN. It wants to impose on us a direct tax. Ron Paul successfully fought this move in Congress last year, but stopping the world government body's ongoing attempts to tax us will require consistently strong leadership from the White House.

We must withdraw from any organizations and trade deals that infringe upon the freedom and independence of the United States of America.

I believe Mr.Paul to be one of the few men with true integrity left in this world. I also agree with his stand on all of the global issues concerning America today. My question is how does he intend to help a nation that is unwilling to help itself? I was furious when Bill Clinton signed NAFTA. Unfortunatly, I have come to realize that it is the reason America is surviving. Americans have and have always had the resources, knowledge and the ability to compete in a global economy. They are unwilling to do so because they are academically lazy as a whole and greedy. I spoke to a farmer recently who told me that Americans better wake up,he said that he hires Mexicans because he can't get locals to work. I told him that I would be more than willing to come to work for him if he would pay me $18.00 an hour which I would need to sustain my current quality of life. He balked, I asked him I he could survive on $6.00 an hour and if he would like to live with 7 or 8 of his relatives? He drove away. So there in lies my question, with so much foreign money invested and so much upper corporate greed how do you intend to guide America into an independant nation once again? I do have some suggestions that may help you, Hillary Clinton ignored me and turned away when I spoke to her. Do you really care what is good for Americans? I will encourage everyone that I come in contact with to give you a chance and we will see.
