I haven't starved to death yet. I make woolly sculptures , paint, do photography projects, and video too. Whatever it takes. I currently don't have a work studio, the typical kick-the artists-out-of-the-building-to-make-condos scenerio. Instead of looking to find a new studio to move my piles of stuff into, I have been researching traveling long distance by horse to ride across the country coast to coast. I want to break the studio work cycle and find something new.



A friend of mine has a sister in Colorado who is moving to Wisconsin, and she has a horse that needs to get to Wisconsin too. They asked me if I would ride it there, so I am! I need all the support I can get. I will still have my rent to take care of in NYC, storage rent, and since I won't be working for over a month...well, expenses expenses!
I am entering this photo that is from a series I've been working on called 'Cleavage'. My models are friends and family. In exchange for modeling I give them an artist proof print. It is a way for people to afford a piece of work, and helps me out too! FairTrade i think it is called. Anyway, incase you can't tell, it is an ass.
