    Boston’s Beloved Dogs Will Launch Headlining Tour On Sept. 11th
    
    Punk rock veterans Street Dogs have announced the first leg of their cross-country, headlining tour that will kick off on September 11th in Houston, TX. Unleashed and on the road, the Street Dogs are touring in support of their critically acclaimed new album, State of Grace
    
    The Boston raised band have made a name for themselves over the years with rowdy and participatory live shows that are packed with enough fist pumping and frenzied pit action to leave fans coming back for more.
    
    Currently performing on the main stage at this summer’s Van’s Warped Tour, Street Dogs are taking names and winning fans one city at a time with their passionate music and performances. Singer Mike McColgan, who was the original founding singer of the Dropkick Murphys and former Boston firefighter, draws on a wealth of life experiences and observations to inspire his riveting vocal performances, adding a touch of sincere urgency to the non-stop fist-a-cuffs of teeth-gnashing punk rock that the band is known for.
    
    The Street Dogs’ fourth studio album, State of Grace, invokes a sense of camaraderie with songs about family life, hardships, war and redemption, and critics across the country are raising their pints to the album.

    Hardcore Metal heavyweights HATEBREED have announced a September 2, 2008 release date for their first-ever DVD, Live Dominance. The DVD will include the band’s entire 80 minute show shot in front of a crazed, sold-out crowd at Harpo’s in <city st="on">Detroit</city> on the Supremacy tour, plus additional live concert footage shot all over the globe in such cities as <city st="on">Philadelphia</city>, <place st="on"><city st="on">New-Haven</city>, <state st="on">New York</state></place> and more.

     

    
    
    
    

     

    Live Dominance will include over 2 hours of live footage. In addition, the DVD is set to include a ton of bonus features shot specifically for the release including brand-new band interviews, concept videos, fan testimonials, and much much more.

     

    
    
    
    

     

    The Harpo’s <city st="on"><place st="on">Detroit</place></city> show was shot entirely in hi-definition and directed by Kevin Custer with musical production/mixing from Grammy Award winner, Josh Wilbur (Lamb Of God).

    WHO John Joseph, living legend of the American punk, hardcore,metal movements and now a published author. John has recently released his auto-biography The Evolution Of A Cro-Magnon on Punk House Books. The book is an epic tale of survival, struggle and eventually overcoming destructive and chaotic forces to emerge a spiritual, positive and world renown figure. Following John’s life in NYC from the 60’s through the 90’s, we see him survive a dysfunctional family, foster homes, abuse, life on the streets, incarceration, the dawn of the punk scene, a birds eye view of the history of The Bad Brains and The Cro-Mags and beyond. Press has rained positive press on the book already including the cover story of The Village Voice, as well as features in Revolver, Decibel, Alt Press, Metal Maniacs and more.
    
    John also recently released a CD with his new band Bloodclot which includes members of Biohazard, Pro-Pain and The Cro-Mags. The band have recently played shows with Sick Of It All, the reunited Absolution, Madball, Agnostic Front and the reunited Civ.
    
    WHAT A book release party with a reading from the book by John and live music set featuring John and a star line-up rocking through classic songs from The Cro-Mags, Fearless Vampire Killers and more. In addition there will be Vegeterian catering available through John’s Krshna Temple and a DJ set from Sergio Vega (Quicksand). Admission to reading is free but a $5.00 donation to see the live music downstair goes to benefit food drives that John organizes with his Temple.
