   Gordon Wyllie RSW Retrospective 5th - 21st December The late Gordon Wyllie was a painter of small scale, intimate works of his beloved Scottish croft houses. His enormous talent as a painter was matched only by a humanity and warmth of personality that endeared him to all those that came into contact with him. A great friend of Panter & Hall, his death in 2005 was an enormous loss to the Scottish art world and his many collectors who had also come to know him through the gallery.

   Jill Barthorpe 13th - 30th November Jill's sense of geometric structure and design betrays her training at the Slade in the 1980s. One of the most exciting additions to Panter & Hall after the recent merge with Collins & Hastie her paintings contain, in the words of the critic Giles Auty, "... moments of beauty and poetry."

   Simon Laurie RSW RGI 24th October - 9th November Having spent a decade exploring abstract constructionism his recent return to figurative oil painting has brought his work to the attention of a nationwide audience through a series of exhibitions in London and Edinburgh. His eclectic influences range from Braque and Ben Nicholson to the Edinburgh painter Barbara Rae who tutored Simon at Glasgow School of Art.

   Grete Marks (1899 - 1990) 18th - 27th July A Bauhaus trained, internationally respected ceramicist and painter. We are very fortunate to be able to offer a small retrospective exhibition of paintings executed in the 1930s and 40s in St Ives and the Cornish coast, direct from the artist's studio.
