                        1. Ruthie Bram: A Diva in the Making

Ruthie Bram by: Debi Doson, Daily Confection-She Unlimited While most 18 year old girls are busy chasing boys, hanging out at the mall and deciding what to do with their future, Ruthie Bram is hard at work becoming the next pop diva. A little pop, a little funk, a little rock, Ruthie has a sultry similarity to Gloria Estefan. 2005 saw Ruthie write and co-produce her first demo. Over ten thousand demos rolled into the offices of the Music Connection, in Los Angeles, hoping to be chosen as one of the best demos for that year. Ruthie Bram broke the top twenty-five. That same year, she also went on to land in the top twenty-five of the 100 best unsigned artists; becoming the youngest artist to take both categories in Music Connection history. With notable appearances at high-profile affairs such as charity functions for U.N.I.C.E.F, Tsunami relief and Operation smile, Ruthie has a steel-toed boot on that foot in the door. Destined for superstardom with the release of her first album this fall, Ruthie is dedicated to bringing true feelings about true life to the forefront. Concerning the album, she states, “I was born to write and sing for people and to tell their stories as well as my own.” She sees no reason to put limits on her lyrics or music stylizations. It is her belief that today’s generation offers a sophisticated ear and doesn’t allow restrictions on what they like to hear. “My desire is to write and record what people can relate to and listen to over and over,” she says. Ruthie will be joining the 2007 EuroRock tour. The east coast leg of the tour begins in New York City on August 28th, and concludes in Murfreesboro, North Carolina on September 15th with the Global Festival for Peace. The west coast leg of the tour will begin in Los Angeles on September 17th with a special performance to celebrate World Peace Day. Finishing up the United States part of the tour in Flagstaff, Arizona, it will then skip across the pond to start the European tour.
