In case you've come across my profile here on moli and have no clue who I am, let me recommend a mix that I did about a year an a half ago... It's a tribute mix to the late great J Dilla aka Jay Dee in which I teamed up with Questlove's website Okayplayer . Originally I had remixed a few tracks off of Donuts but when Kweli gave me a freestyle over an unreleased Dilla track and I mysteriously received a Notorious B.I.G. remix that Dilla had personally done, it turned into a bigger project. It's been a year and a half since we released it online as a free download and in that time the response has been tremendous. It has received almost 100,000 downloads and was nominated by VH-1 and Vibe Magazine for the 2007 Mixtape Of The Year award (I lost to Kanye West). Now, I didn't personally know Dilla but was a huge fan of his production and music. If you're one of the many who's isn't familar with his music then I highly recommend u check out this mix! If there's one thing I love to see in a movie, it's watching a female fuck shit up. This film is from the same person who brought you Bad Lieutenant. If anyone has the unedited version for sale on dvd or vhs leave a comment with a way to get in contact with you.

Since I like to watch electronic dance videos in my spare time, I'm gonna post this... It's only right to give Mylo some shine. After all, he was mentioned in my last post.
So I'm looking for video footage on Betty Davis (Miles Davis's ex) and I come across this video. I might as well post it since Mylo sampled it for this track and Diplo did a mix that I keep hearing in the clubs.
It's too bad the Yankee's didn't make the playoffs either.Damn, I miss the old New York!
Written and directed by the same guy who brought us The King Of New York, I don't know why Hollywood is remaking this film. On another note, it's too bad the New York Mets didn't make the playoffs...
Check out Evelyn King looking like a member of the X-Men. This performance blows away the official video. On the fashion tip, look for Kanye West to be rocking the glasses she's wearing in his next video. Word on the street is he's gonna include a pair with the sale of each album. Take that 50 Cent!
Petey Greene in effect... I'm speechless...
Since the Dow just suffered it's worst point drop ever, let's look at what $800 can buy you today.Womans Flats! That's right! Kaws has linked up with Marc Jacobs for this release. And for the cheap price of $800, you can buy a pair! I'm sure the ladies are feeling this! Now if you're a hustler and thinking about making some extra money, then you might want to consider running to the nearest Marc Jacobs retail store and buying a few pairs. You might be able to flip them on ebay for at least $1500.
Bonus Video - Greed Is Good
For the record, I do not do drugs or encourage anyone to do them. Now on Saturday night I ended up in Hollywood, Florida and played at Spirits Nightclub, which is located inside The Hard Rock Cafe (shouts to Angel). Anyhow at the end of the night my driver asked me if it was cool to smoke. I didn't think it was an issue, so he put it in the air. Bad move on my part because I caught a contact high and left my camera in his car. And on that note, the plant of choice for that night was crippy weed, which can only be found in Florida because that is where it's grown.

Once again, it's the return of Mixtape Wednesdays. For this edition I'm posting a rare mix of Clark Kent spinnin some originals and classics on Hot 97. This was when the station would let outside DJ's come in and do what they wanted without giving them a playlist during the mixmaster weekends.

With Reggae being one of my favorite genres in musicI've decided to post two classic tracks. I mean, why not?August 6th was Jamaica's Independence Day...Barrington Levy"Here I Come" (Live in 1985)Dennis Brown"Revolution" (Live In 1985)
After you watch the video, you can read about them here.
For anybody who doesn't know about EPMD, this is classic material right here...
Released in 1989, the video features cameo's from Eazy E, Ice Cube & K-Solo and
