Broadcast personality, journalist, author, model. Roshumba Williams is accomplished in all these mediums and moves gracefully between them. Most recently Roshumba completed work as a correspondent on a series of make-over shows FOX’s Live Like A Star, WE’s Swimsuit Secrets Revealed, and TRAVEL CHANNEL’s Beach Week.

She also served as host, judge and mentor for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model Search which aired on NBC and is currently being seen in syndication all over the world. She hosted Serving For Tsunami Relief Fund that aired on E! Entertainment and the Tennis Channel. For this assignment, Roshumba had the honor of interviewing George H. W. Bush.

Also this year Roshumba played a significant role in the short film the Pitch which gained acceptance into the Cannes Film Festival. Roshumba began her broadcast career in 1998 as a correspondent for Lifetime Television's lifestyle show, The Wire, geared toward their younger demographic.

From 1998 to 2001 Roshumba had a tremendous presence at VH1 where she hosed daily shows; Top 20 Countdown, Back to Back and VH1 All Access. She also covered VH1 Divas Live, VH1 Vogue Fashion Awards and VH1 Save The Music. In the 2002 season, Roshumba worked as a correspondent and substitute anchor for Entertainment Tonight where she filled in for Mary Hart, conducted celebrity interviews with Denzel Washington, Jodie Foster and Cameron Diaz. She reported from red carpet events, movie premieres, and performed behind-the-scenes visits to feature film and television sets.

In 2003, Roshumba hosted a series of specials for HGTV entitled, Beautiful Homes, Amazing Homes and Fabulous Bathrooms. Prior to her broadcast career Roshumba was recognized as one of the world’s top models. For over a decade Roshumba walked the runways for fashion designers, Yves Saint Laurent, Versace, Armani and Chanel. She was the image representing Cover Girl, Maybelline and Hanes Hoisery; she appeared on the covers and pages of Vogue, Glamour, Elle and Essence magazines and also graced the pages of the coveted Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.

In 2004 SI selected Roshumba as one of their Hall-of-Fame models along with Tyra Banks and Elle McPhearson. Ms. Williams wrote her first book in 1999, The Complete Idiots Guide To Being A Model offering poignant advice to young women about breaking into the modeling and fashion business. It was the top seller in it's category and the publishers at Alpha Books/Penguin Group have contracted her for a second edition to be released in early 2007.

Roshumba lends her time to a number of charities such as The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Aids Foundation, The United Negro College Fund, The Revlon Breast Cancer Awareness initiatives and others. She completed her journalism studies at UCLA.
