Well . . . anyone who scans this section on Crab Apple College knows it's just a bunch of foolishness, right? And if it's just a bunch of foolishness, then why pay any attention to it, right? That all depends on your state of mind, your particular interests, you good humor, and your sense of adventure. I'm not just having a little fun here because I plan on eventually using this online college idea as a vehicle for some specific ideas. In other words, what's starts as a silly idea might in the end have some serious thought provoking features to it. It will all be in the name of humor, of course.
So just what are we talking about here? Well, I've already suggested what might be forthcoming . . . in a round about way. Take a look at the recipe section and you'll get a hint or two. We all need to eat better, and that's a fact of life. Old people are shortening their lives with improper diet, and sometimes they do this out of ignorance about what's really good for them and what isn't. And believe it or not, one of our associates is a nationally recognized expert on diet and exercise and that sort of thing . . . and he's a real college professor, too. In fact, yours truly was a college prof for 35 years, so we're not strangers to teaching around here. We're also not strangers to being outrageously silly either, so you've got to be on your toes when you check out our site here on moli.
My point is that we're here to have some fun, to maybe add a little fun to your day, but we can get serious from time to time. And we're serious about good diet and exercise for older people. We're serious about other things that impact your lives on a daily basis, too . . . like taxes, health insurance, the high cost of utilities, dishonest businessmen who profit from the elderly, and so forth. On this site we talk about how to deal with those things, and before long, we'll be moving them over to the college and offering them as online courses. They'll be free, of course. The best good advice a person can get is the free kind, and that's sure scarce these days.
Keep an out eye for us . . . or rather on us. We'll be back.
