"Who Is Blaire Allison...And What's The Story Behind marryblaire.com?"



In June 2004 the idea came to me to put up a website (marryblaire.com)posting my profile in search of my life partner. I was done dating for the fun of it and ready to find my husband.



For years, I was so afraid to tell guys I wanted a serious relationship and wanted to get married, but had gotten to the point that I was sooo frustrated and fed up that I put it up on the website and shared it with the world.



I posted my profile, stated very boldly "Do you know my husband?®" and stated that I wanted to get married. I posted some cute pictures of myself, shared my dating experiences, and had guys "submit" themselves, their pictures and profiles for people to vote on if I should give them a chance or not. I was putting my search for the "one" in the hands of others. I was fed up!



The website was supposed to be private. Only close friends and family members were supposed to see it...BUT it got out!



One of my friends must have leaked it to other friends...and then other friends...and within 1 week I got tons of responses from all over the world from men who wanted to date me, from women who were in the same situation as me, and from press who wanted to cover my story and help me in my search.



Within 2 weeks, I was interviewed live on MSNBC featured in the NY Times and in meetings with VH1 talking about having my own dating reality show.



People and the press loved my story. The uniqueness of it all. A Love Expert seeking love. An attractive girl needing help finding a man. A girl stating boldly her goal of getting married to the world.



Long story, short. I learned a lot!What I was doing wrong...what I was doing really wrong - or better said...how to date RIGHT. There is a "right" way to date...a healthy way to date, that we're never taught about until NOW.
