1. Old Mil Bowl Jam

   <table width="100%" border="0" align="center" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="0"><tbody><tr><td bgcolor="#F8F8F8">Every year I go to the Old Mil Bowl Jam. It's one of the heavier jams of the year, not much room on the deck. Lot's of people packed in and everybody going at once. I did really good this year, finished 2nd in the Masters and won $250. I was also able to present a check from Grind For Life to Bryan Farabegoli, a Jacksonville skateboarder, to help him while is is out of work due to brain cancer treatment. It's so great to see how skateboarders are always there to help a fellow skater.

   National Grassroots competition series. On FUEL TV's Daily Habit (A segment with pro skateboarders Adam Taylor and Buster Halterman) "SKATEBOARDING'S LARGEST GRASSROOTS AMATEUR SERIES...EVER!"™ W-AMS! will launch during the fall of 2008. The first season of the multi-week contest series will take place (simultaneously) at unified elite skateparks across the USA.

   November 9-11 will be the conclusion of the Fall Classic when The Sean Slater Invitational kicks off. This contest showcases the best of the best in surfing with contestants such as Kelly Slater hitting the Cocoa Beach Surf behind The Holiday Inn. Added to The Sean Slater Invitational this year will be the Grind For Life Skateboard Exhibition. This will be held at the Holiday Inn Tennis Courts.
