Roxy Industries was founded by Eryn Korby in 2005, to fill an oft-neglected niche in the Vegas market: hip, savvy, style-concious tourists, and business travelers in tastemaker industries i.e. music, film, fashion, and the media. Prior to moving to Las Vegas, Korby worked in the music business for several years. At 19 she assisted the publicity department of Mercury Records during her summer vacation from Boston’s Emerson College, where she had been studying musical theatre and communications. She had so much fun over the summer that she decided to stay in New York, quickly procuring a full-time position as Publicity Coordinator for Wind-Up Records, handling tour press for the band Creed during their first national tour to support their multi-platinum debut, My Own Prison. After a short time, Korby’s personal lack of enthusiasm for the band she was paid to rave about led her to leave Wind-Up and continue her education, earning a B.A. in The Sociology of Popular Culture with a minor in marketing at New York University’s eclectic Gallatin School. While finishing her degree she got back into the business and ended up working in the publicity department of DelsenerSlater, New York’s biggest concert promoter. DelsenerSlater had been recently acquired by Robert F.X. Sillerman’s national promotions company SFX. Upon graduation from NYU in 2000, Korby was hired on to work as an assistant to Mitch Slater, who was Sillerman’s VP at SFX, as well as co-CEO of DelsenerSlater alongside legendary New York promoter Ron Delsener. This dual position, working with both NYC club and arena shows, as well as on national tours from Ozzfest to Elton John, prepared Korby well for her next position. SFX was sold to Clear Channel in 2001and Korby moved on to work with Evolution Talent Agency President David Zedeck, handling day-to-day national and international touring correspondence for the likes of Britney Spears, *NSYNC, P.Diddy, and the Backstreet Boys at the height of their success. After a few years, Korby became frazzled with post 9/11 life in New York City and bored with pushing pop to the masses. She has always been the consummate dialed-in savvy rock chick who, in addition to her day jobs in New York, booked and promoted rock and roll parties and music biz events in downtown NYC and acted as somewhat of a downtown ambassador to the music industry, working with managers and agents who wanted to showcase their new buzz band in a cool downtown setting. She was also responsible for bringing the first weekly Saturday night rock party to the basement of the now famous and always fabulous Lit Lounge. Korby called it quits in NYC, and decided to move to Las Vegas and start her own business in 2003, with hopes of continuing her cutting edge, independent promotions. Within a few months local scenesters and media were curious about the brassy, ballsy rock chick from New York City with the crazy ideas, and a buzz began to form around Korby’s events and DJ nights. She began to promote small events organically, which were successful and always appreciated by longtime Vegas denizens, but she was met with the stark realization that the reason Vegas masses weren’t embracing her cutting edge events, was because Vegas was decidedly NOT cutting edge. Realizing the market for her ideas simply did not exist in Vegas (at least not yet), Korby decided to shift her focus towards working with convention clients from NYC and L.A., as well as television productions filming in Vegas. She has been featured on A&E’s Caesar’s: 24/7, and she can be seen squiring celebrity chef and author Anthony Bourdain around town in the Vegas episode of his hit show No Reservations on the Travel Channel. With the advent of Roxy Industries, Korby now has an innovative platform for assisting all visiting tastemakers and savvy, culturally aware tourists, and making their Vegas trips as fabulous as they can be. She also plans to complete her master’s degree, her MBA, and work closely with the city to help revitalize downtown and maintain the last vestiges of vintage Vegas. Event Management No one throws a party quite like Roxy Industries. An experienced music industry professional, Roxy’s founder has been coordinating, producting, and promoting parties and concerts, as well as creating one-of-a-kind events in New York, Boston, and most recently Las Vegas , for the better part of a decade. For that extra edge in brand recognition that you’re looking for, throwing a party during your trade show can help you get the most out of your time in Vegas. Many independent companies don’t have the cash to shell out for their own party….especially for a party at a casino nightclub. But you’re in luck: Vegas nightclubs are possibly the most typical places for your party to be. But you're not typical. If you’re an innovative company, throw an innovative party! Roxy can steer you in the right direction and help you choose a bar, club, ballroom, hotel suite, or other funky locale, coordinate talent and guest list, and even put you together with other independent companies looking to do the same, so you can create a bigger, more bombastic event. We’ll create promotional materials for your event and promote it to the funkiest Vegas locals, as well as on-site during the days of your trade show. If you're not associated with a trade show but have a media or product launch you want to celebrate in Vegas, Roxy can coordinate that as well. We also coordinate select bachelor/bachelorette parties, unique wedding receptions, and birthdays for parties of 50 or more. Ready to get the party started? E-mail events@roxyindustries.com.

For a space that radiates upbeat energy and demands attention, look no further than Roxy Industries for all your set-up needs. Why drag materials halfway across the country when Roxy’s got all the right contacts and connections in Vegas to help you construct the booth of your dreams? You don’t live in Vegas, so of course you have to rely on the trade show’s resources, which forces you to be a slave to their vendors. Don’t scramble to find a Home Depot last minute…let Roxy Industries be your convention concierge! Need a DJ to rock you booth? We’ve got ‘em. Need some tasty bites to lure the attendees? Check. Reasonable rates and hip, modern sensibilities separate Roxy from the pack and save you the hassle of dealing with dull corporations who are more interested in your money than your style. We don’t cater to middle America….we cater specifically to the fresh, the funky, and fashion-forward! If these qualities describe you or your company, e-mail expos@roxyindustries.com for a convention quote!
