   Besides getting the news yesterday that one of my photographs is getting published soon in the Parade Magazine, I have just received news that one of my poems, "New Beginnings" is also going to be published in a book in the winter of 2008! 
   
   If I was on cloud 10k because of the photograph, I am now on cloud 20k!!

   Well, I didn't win anything here in MOLI (yet!! lol...), but one of my loves and passions is photography. I am getting published soon in the Parade Magazine. The pay isn't too much, but it is a $100 more than I had in my bank today!! lol.... I'll certainly try to keep you posted on when it officially comes out...but, I am dancing on cloud 10,000!! ;) Hope you are all off to a phenomenal weekend! ttyml.... Your friend, Kat

   I just love this song that Jewel sings.  It has a meaning on more levels than one -- one of which an empowering to move forward each and every year after the death of my own husband.  This year, it will be year 6 on November 11th.

   Yea... Got an email today from one of my friends congratulating me on being the Editor's Pick.  I thanked him and then scoured MOLI to see what exactly he was talking about.  There on the front page, I have been picked as the Editor's Pick for being the most active.

   This is great news as I have just joined in the last few days....

6. A Personal URL is Born!!

   Okay, I took MOLI up on being able to create a personal URL for my site, which would certainly enable me to be able to direct folks more directly to my Moli page.  It was hard to choose what that personal URL would be -- especially since there is no going back once it has been assigned -- and one that would describe the essence of myself.
   
   I ended up choosing  "creative quest" as that seems to be  what best describes my life journey -- a quest for creativity!
   
   As such, my personal URL for this site is "www.moli.com/creativequest".  Please feel free to share this with your friends if you are wanting to share with your friends something unique about my site -- and, thanks, in advance, should you so do so!

   Okay!  This is pretty cool.  I have discovered a way to portray some of my photo projects with an area of interest.  I love it!
   
   Just one thing though....
   
   Because I set up some recent projects in RockYou with music immediately starting upon opening of the page, I am not going to be able to submit feature photo projects in the same genre, unless I figure out how in RockYou to have the person create a start button to start the viewing.
   
   Just something to think about as I continue to explore this site's boundries and limitations -- if there are any!! lol...

   UPDATE @ 4:11EST -- completed uploading various priceless pictures of my cats who think that they own my home, as well as uploaded a video that I had uploaded previously (last year) on YouTube showing Moobaby's antics on the monitor.  Don't be too harsh on the video as it was the first ever that I have done.  Of course, whenever you undertake a project there is always a learning aspect achieved. :)

   A coworker has discovered a bit of a gem in the local shelter program wherein they allow one to adopt a pet to walk, especially since they oftentimes run short of people and time to have these animals constantly walking about. My coworker says that she is needing to get more exercise; and as such is going to jump into trying to volunteer to walk some of the pets at this shelter program. She provided the link -- Town Lake Dogs -- for more information for this program.
