  6. The Sensual Queen Series Part 2

    16.Jul.08, 18:34 EDT
WHAT MAKES OF A Sensual Queen? PART 2 - A Sensual queen is a match made in heaven for the man who will bestow her loveliness. It will be an honor for this man; For her magnetic smile is alluring, envelopes slowly full, luscious lips spreading to place a soft strawberry lip-glossed KISS on her kings forehead. She rocks his head in her lap as they lay quietly and watch a movie depicting love as best the writer and Videographers can say. She waits patiently until the end of the story of other hopeful post- queens WHO wish to make her man theirs. She knows in her heart that her KING will choose the right queen. Like the bridesmaids awaiting with their lamps filled to the brim, sleeping, dreaming, and working for their King, the one and only God, the sensual queen awaits her Boaz while waiting for the KING OF glory. She knows that to marry is not the ultimate goal, for the Word of God says that it is better to be single and it is the wish of one of the Disciples to NOT marry. But that if one must marry it is best, rather than BURN in LUST. So the SENSUAL QUEEN awaits her lover, her man, her husband and prepares herself for his arrival. She pampers herself and soaks in Melon and Vanilla scents surrounded by bubbles that encircle her curves, her frame. Her bottom soaks the bubbles that arise to the top of her triangular shaven bone that appears to be bobbing searching for THE ONE. "Where is he?" The privately held part whispers to the sensual queen. "I have much love to give THE ONE who is the man which God has chosen for us. He has saved the best for last for the great king who will soon bestow deep, thrusting caves of love for his sensual queen. He will FIRST bestow gifts, thoughts, calls and enchanting music and song that will set the stage for his love, his queen. The sensual queen steps out of the dream as she awakes to the alarm clock singing, turns on her back and calls her king's name silently and says "Good morning, man of God." Her thoughts are redirected to the day's journey, for life calls for her to walk as a queen, think as a queen, smile like a queen and accept no negative thing. But her king, he will just want her as she arose, awaiting her king, him. The sensual queen is confident that she will arrive at her ultimate queen-dom when her king takes her hand and they become like as ONE.
  7. Hidden Gem - King Imhotep

    14.Jul.08, 12:44 EDT

    Historical Personalities & Issues

Compiled & Edited by Phillip True, Jr.

    Chapter Two

IMHOTEP "FATHER OF MEDICINE" (2980 B.C.)

Imhotep, called "God of Medicine," "Prince of Peace," and a "Type of Christ." Imhotep was worshipped as a god and healer from approximately 2850 B.C. to 525 B.C., and as a full deity from 525 B.C. to 550 A.D. Even kings and queens bowed at his throne. Imhotep lived during the Third Dynasty at the court of King Zoser. Imhotep was a known scribe, chief lector, priest, architect, astronomer and magician (medicine and magic were used together.) For 3000 years he was worshipped as a god in Greece and Rome. Early Christians worshippd him as the "Prince of Peace."

Imhotep was also a poet and philosopher. He urged contentment and preached cheerfulness. His proverbs contained a "philosophy of life." Imhotep coined the saying "Eat, drink and be merry for tomorrow we shall die."

When the Egyptians crossed the Mediterranean, becoming the foundation of the Greek culture, Imhotep's teachings were absorbed there. Yet, as the Greeks were determined to assert that they were the originators of everything, Imhotep was forgotten for thousands of years and a legendary figure, Hippocrates, who came 2000 years after him became known as the Father of Medicine.

It is Imhotep says Sir William Osler, who was the real Father of Medicine. "The first figure of a physician to stand out clearly from the mists of antiquity." Imhotep diagnosed and treated over 200 diseases, 15 diseases of the abdomen, 11 of the bladder, 10 of the rectum, 29 of the eyes, and 18 of the skin, hair, nails and tongue. Imhotep treated tuberculosis, gallstones, appendicitis, gout and arthritis. He also performed surgery and practiced some denistry. Imhotep extracted medicine from plants. He also knew the position and function of the vital organs and circulation of the blood system. The Encyclopedia Britannica says, "The evidence afforded by Egyptian and Greek texts support the view that Imhotep's reputation was very respected in early times...His prestige increased with the lapse of centuries and his temples in Greek times were the centers of medical teachings."

James Henry Breasted says of Imhotep:

<blockquote> In priestly wisdom, in magic, in the formulation of wise proverbs; in medicine and architecture; this remarkable figure of Zoser's reign left so notable a reputation that his name was never forgotten. He was the patron spirit of the later scribes, to whom they regularly poured out a libation from the water-jug of their writing outfit before beginning their work. The people sang of his proverbs centuries later, and 2500 years after his death, he had become a god of medicine in whom Greeks, who call him Imouthes, recognized their own Asklepios. A temple was erected to him near the Serapeum at Memphis, and at the present day, every museum possesses a bronze statue or two of the apotheosized wise man, the proverb maker, physician, and architect of Zoser. </blockquote>

  9. Blues Legend Bo Diddley Dies

    11.Jun.08, 12:55 EDT
Longtime Blues legend Bo Diddley died June 2, 2008. He was 79 years old. One blues musician's widow, Earline Smothers recalls Bo Diddley and her husband Big Smokey Smothers playing on the back porch at 41st & Berkley on Chicago's south side. (ArizeWomanonline)

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Bo Diddley, a founding father of rock n roll whose distinctive shave and a haircut, two bits rhythm and innovative guitar effects
Blues legend B.B. King performed with Bo Diddley at the second anniversary celebration of B.B. King's Blues Club and Grill in New York in June, 2002.
His first single, Bo Diddley, introduced record buyers in 1955 to his signature rhythm: bomp ba-bomp bomp, bomp bomp, often summarized as ?shave and a haircut, two bits. The B side, I'm a Man, with its slightly humorous take on macho pride, also became a rock standard.

The company that issued his early songs was Chess-Checkers records, the storied Chicago-based labels that also recorded Chuck Berry and other stars.

Born as Ellas Bates on Dec. 30, 1928, in McComb, Miss., Diddley was later adopted by his mother's cousin and took on the name Ellis McDaniel, which his wife always called him.

When he was 5, his family moved to Chicago, where he learned the violin at the Ebenezer Baptist Church. He learned guitar at 10 and entertained passers-by on street corners.

By his early teens, Diddley was playing Chicago's Maxwell Street.

He came out of school and made something out of myself. He is known all over the globe, all over the world. There are guys who have done a lot of things that don't have the same impact that Bo Diddley had.
  10. The Entrepreneurial Spirit Mom

    16.May.08, 15:46 EDT
BEING A MOM WITH AN ENTREPRENEURIAL SPIRIT

Being a mom with an entrepreneurial spirit requires an almost overdrive of energy that one has stored within themselves.
Often, they don't know what drives them, they just know that their passion is owning something that others can benefit from, including their family, others call it entrepreneurship.

The many benefits of entrepreneurship are outstanding.  While nurturing her cub, she is also preparing a future for them that they can either step into or choose their own business goal.
She knows that her "little ones" and teen men are watching as well as listening to her every move.  She can teach them to fail by openly displaying what a woman driven to entrepreneurship does: provide and enjoy a nest's egg and choose not to wait for
someone else to bring to her.

The entrepreneuial spirit mom is excited, cultivated and cunning.  She sometimes is depressed when she doesn't meet her own goals.  At times, she may feel self-defeat by other's lack of understanding of what exactly she's doing.
She knows how to juggle or as others say today "multi-task" the many roles she plays in the operation of her business, while simultaneously not excluding her DNA clones.

She knows how to say yes to them and shut down everything while she tackles advocating education  by keeping them focused, on their studies and out of misery's company.  She will one day sit down with her children and explain exactly what she's doing.  Her goal is to pass on the entrepreneurial spirit to her children, for she knows that when you control your own destiny, the only one to blame for failure is oneself.  She knows that one day many will travel miles away to ask for help from a king, but that the man who is himself a king will have PLENTY TO GIVE.
