WHERE YOU'LL SEE IT Films and videos will be shown in this renaissance city at numerous sites including the Columbus Theatre Arts Center, Providence Performing Arts Center, the Cable Car Cinema, Feinstein IMAX Providence Place, Showcase Cinemas Providence Place, special events throughout the City of Providence, plus many more to be announced. COME CHOOSE YOUR FAVORITE FILM RIIFF is also a juried competition. Our judges range from an Academy Award winner and a Hollywood screenwriter to professors of film. But you can judge, too. Choose your favorite. The top audience winner receives the Viola Marshall Fest Favorites Award. Since RIIFF is an Academy Award qualifying Festival, you never know just what will happen to the film your support. COME LEARN MORE ABOUT FILM We're offering seminars, forums and colloquia about film. Participate or just come and listen to our panel of industry professionals. Topics this year may include animation, SAG and the indie market, producing a feature length film, selling your script, making a niche film and creating a career, how to break into film acting, the future of digital production, sound, editing, union vs. non-union, or how to get financing and make your dreams a reality. ADVANCE TICKET DISCOUNTS Discount tickets can be purchased by filling out the order form. Purchase a Festival Six Pack or several tickets to individual screenings. (Screenings may consist of more than one film.) Advance discount ticket orders must be postmarked July 27, 2007. If you purchase tickets to the Gala, those tickets and all additional tickets you order will be held for you at the door to the Gala. If you do not plan to attend the Gala, your tickets (and a map showing you where to park) will be mailed to you for receipt on or before August 2nd. You may also pick-up your tickets at our Film Festival office or at the RIIFF box office.
