    The slam poet/tech artist/paper sculptor Rives does eight minutes of lyrical origami, folding history into a series of coincidences surrounding that most surreal of hours, 4 o'clock in the morning.  This presentation from the TED Conference is not only amazingly creative but hysterically funny.

    That is so true - capitalism marks an upsurge in working late nights.  Although I must admit that ately I go to bed at ten and start at seven!

    I hate to say it, but 4:00 am has been midnight since the late '80s. I mean when was the last time any of us was 'burning the midnight oil' (as our parent's would call it) before 3:00 am?

    I mean, I've never felt I was pushing a limit at midnight. It wasn't even on the radar. You're cutting tag board for a big presentation schedules early the following morning, then BLIP it's already 1:00 am
