  1. When Loved Ones Pass On

    18.Apr.08, 16:42 EDT

In recent years and in recent months, I have lost many loved ones in my family and some very close friends. The passing of these dear ones gives me a great longing, a longing to see the place where their spirits have gone. I have a longing to have my family and friends be with me, even if it means I must travel back into the place where memories are kept. In the past, we all exist on earth together and that gives me great joy.

Somehow, I know this life and the one that follows have been ordered very purposefully by the Divine Hand of Creation. I do not question the Creator's wisdom. On the contrary, I question my own reasons for wanting to hold onto to these people who have struck some tender chords on my heart.

Last week, on Sunday, April 13, 2008, my brother in law Kenny passed on from complications due to chemotherapy. Kenny had lung cancer for over a year now. His passing was sudden with him being alone in his room. His daughter had watched over him all night and fell asleep in the wee hours of the morning. Kenny passed about six that morning. For Shana, this brings enormous feelings of pain, regret and guilt. She feels that if she had only stayed awake, her Father would have lived because she could have called for help. Again, those heart strings were tugged tremendously.

Attachments to people that become so intense that I can scarcely fathom life on earth without these people, reveals a very important facet of our spiritual existence. God did not create us as lone souls to walk through time and eternity alone. Indeed, God fashioned us after our hearts, as he wove them all intricately together into a tapestry that would drape through the eternities as one tapestry. We are merely the threads that bind the tapestry. Creation is not only for us to exist but to co-exist. Mankind is for creation and creation is for God.

I am in awe that an all wise knowing Creator loved us enough to give  us the human feeling heart and a beautiful place such as earth which to express with it.

Have a good journey Kenny, and all my family and friends who have crossed over that veil into the immortal world. I'll see you on the other side.

  3. Dreaming of a New World

    17.Mar.08, 16:22 EDT
My dreams are filled with a place of beauty, profound in its essence. Peace abounds in this place where no living being is at enmity with one another. The earth blossoms continually with its bounteous living gifts and is immersed in a continual mist of the purest clean water. The sky is not above but below and through the new earth, as it is not physically bound, but ever present and multi-dimensional. All creatures communicate in one universal language of love, that is comprehended even before it is spoken. The love emanates from living beings as part of their very essence. Emotions are expressed instantly and without mask or guile. If any imperfection exists, it is instantly revealed and healed by the collective love permeating the entire universe. All thoughts desire the well being and healing of all others, whether human, plant, animal, or deity or angel. Dreams exist in a realm spiralling from the heart center and the awake state is present when a thought moves on the creation. Light is fluid and coallesces with intricate prisms reflecting from one another. In this fluid light, all things reflect back to the one sending out the thought or feeling to create a perfect reflection of all that is. Illusion is absent and replace by illumination. Nature nourishes without sacrifice. Life is continually replenishing. Food is present in the very air that is breathed and in the watery mist that cradles the earth. Laughter emanates to the furthest reaches of an ever expanding universe. Colors seem to dance and not remain still on any one object or being. All is alive with a zeal for existing. I dream of this place of beauty and awake, enamored with its boundless love and filled with hope for our world. The Midnight Writer
